ZOOM

I have set up a Zoom meeting for Friday 1st May at 2pm. If you wish to take part in this meeting, send me an e-mail and I will send you the invite code (make sure you have installed Zoom first!). If you are not sure how to use Zoom, read the notes below and follow the link to the video. I look forward to seeing you next Friday!

Zoom is a video conferencing tool that allows multiple users to have a meeting online.

Before you can be part of a Zoom meeting you will need to install Zoom on your computer, device, smart phone.  It's important that your device has a camera and a microphone.

You can sign up for free.

I've been thinking through some general guidelines when using Zoom.  Here is my list so far ... we may add to it ...

  • make sure you are fully clothed (no pjs)
  • make sure your parents know you are ‘Zooming’
  • take turns in speaking – I can ‘mute’ you!
  • be respectful – be careful with what you say; once you’ve said something you can’t take it back.  If you wouldn’t say it to their face don’t say it!
