Monday 8th June 2020

As you probably saw from Hetty's blog we came across a very noisy woodpecker in the wood, that was on the ground. I didn't realise how beautiful they were, they have so many colours. When I was your age I was really interested in birds and my best friend had a book on all the different ones. What we used to do was draw them by copying from the book. That is how we both became good at drawing from an early age. You should try looking at a picture of one and drawing it, it gets you used to looking at and adding detail.

If you like drawing, try Draw with Rob, I know some of you are doing this already.

I hope you all look at your English work this week as it is very important to us all that we are aware of racism and how we can stop it. Things in the world can only change if we help them change, and in order to do that we need to really understand what is going on.  This is a good opportunity to talk about it with your family.

Don't forget to do your x tables, reading and spellings as they are really important!
