This week we are developing our ability to write instructions. When we begin instructions we use something called 'IMPERATIVE VERBS'. These are also known as 'bossy verbs'. They are verbs such as CUT, CHOP, WASH etc. We use these instead of saying please can you chop the vegetables. That is why we call them 'bossy' verbs.
