Autumn Leaves

This week, the children explored their autumn collections. Thank you to everyone who bought in autumn treasures for the children to explore. We had a huge array of leaves, conkers, twigs and even some sunflower heads! Our book of the week was, ‘We’re going on a leaf hunt’ which we listened to at story time as well as learning some new songs about leaves.

We made our own autumn biscuits and enjoyed smelling the all spice, ginger and cinnamon which we needed to add into our biscuit mixture.

We were lucky enough to have a new dressing table donated to us by Ware Recycling Centre. The children have really enjoyed this new addition to what is probably the most popular area of the classroom… Our home corner!

A special thank you to all of the parents who have recently submitted photographs and/ or comments on Evidence Me. These will be added to the children’s learning journey portfolios which are available in class everyday for the children to look at. They have already been enjoying sharing these with their friends.
