Good morning, I hope you are up early and working hard! I know some of you have been doing some gardening, such as planting vegetable seeds which is great, as soon you will be able to leave them outside or plant them in to the soil as the last frosts will have gone. Some gardens are sheltered so those plants are fine.
From tomorrow the garden centres are going to be open and it would be a great idea for you to go and choose some tiny plants and fill your own pots or hanging baskets. There are so many cool things you can fill, wellies, buckets, old sinks, old pans, the more strange the item the better it will look! Send some pictures in!
Mrs Quacknell is still sitting on the eggs - surely they are going to hatch this week otherwise they will be hard boiled!! We have a plan of action for when they do as we will need to take them to the river, which luckily for us is only across the road! Our biggest issue is catching the mother - it should be fun - I'll try and film the event.
Please make sure you continue to do your daily reading, your times tables and your spellings regularly and also some work off the learning grid. It has been a long time since we were in school and you really will feel the benefit when you return if you can keep going with some of the work choices.
Don't forget to send in your x table results, we've had some amazing ones so far. Again well done for being so understanding and patient, you're a wonderful bunch of monsters and I miss seeing you!
