Wednesday 17th June

Hi everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend in the sun, I hear some of you have managed  trip to the beach - how wonderful. That is one thing I am really looking forward to, a nice day out!

I have been looking after my elderly Aunty a lot over the past few weeks and it has made me realise just how important it is to make contact with people. Even if it just a quick wave or a knock on the window or a note through the door, it's just to let them know that you are around and that you care. Do you know some elderly people can go whole weeks without seeing another person, and they don't say anything because they don't like to bother people. Have you seen the lovely Cadbury's advert on the television where the elderly man keeps kicking back the neighbours football? One day they throw over a bar of chocolate and tell him to keep it - how lovely is that! Remember - we all get old one day !!

It's only just over four weeks until the summer holidays and you won't have to think about school work. You can give yourselves and your teacher parents a well earned break! But for now, try to keep going with the main areas, spellings, reading and times tables, we know it's hard but it's essential!

We will be having a zoom meeting on Thursday at 3.30pm, Mrs C will let you know the details. I am really looking forward to seeing you all again, it really makes me happy!!

Take care and see you soon,

Mrs B x
