Hollybush 5 v St. John’s Baptist 1

The team bounced back in style with a convincing 5-1 win.  We played some really good football in the first half and dominated the opposition, creating chance after chance and hitting the woodwork a few times.  A first half hat-trick from Connie and goal from Louie saw us come in deservedly 4-0 up at half-time.  The second half was a closer match, but Connie was on fire and scored her fourth goal!  St. Jo’s scored a consolation goal, with a wonder-strike from the half-way line, but the game was well beyond reach for any comeback. 

Player of the Match:  Connie, led the line with skill, commitment and clinical finishing in front of goal.
