Welcome to the Spring term in Year 1!

Our topic this half term is called ‘Paws, Claws and Whiskers’. We will be learning lots of exciting things about all kinds of animals.

We worked together in our tables to piece back together photos of lots of different animals. We then identified the different animals and thought of any facts we already knew about them.

Christmas Jumper Day!

The Landlord’s Cat

Year 1, 2 and 3 children performed The Landlord’s Cat for our Christmas production and they were amazing!

The children worked so hard to learn lots of different songs and actions which they performed beautifully (even if they will be still stuck in our heads for weeks to come!).

Well done everyone, you are superstars!

To finish our transport topic, the children were tasked with inventing their own mode of transport. They used different construction toys to build them. We had ideas such as cars that could fly, motorbikes that could be riden on water and even a bus that drove backwards. Well done everyone for such imaginative ideas!
