St. Josephs in the Park 9 vs Hollybush 2

Unfortunately, our unbeaten run of games came to an end yesterday against a strong physical team, with two very good strikers.  We started the game well and passed the ball, creating many chances.  However, we found ourselves chasing the game once St.JitP took the lead, and came in at half-time 4-2 down.  In the second half, both teams changed player positions, but St.JitP were just too strong and the game slipped away from us.  The team never gave up, and kept battling until the final whistle.

Player of the Match:  Connie – worked tirelessly as striker and came close to scoring.
