Hi everybody, how are you all? We have been getting lots of pictures of plants growing and it's looking like that by the end of the summer you'll all be able to make tomato soup, or a tomato based sauce for pasta!! I am going to have to put some more vegetables in as I think the pigeons have been nibbling at them and there are just stumps left!! I have learnt my lesson, I will cover the next batch!!

In my veg patch I have two artichokes - I bet you've never seen one of those before! I planted it last year and now there are three on it! The only time I have ever had artichoke is when I went to my French pen friend's house when I was 13 (ask your parent's what a pen friend is) . I remember dipping the end of them in some type of oil and eating the it. I will have to find out what to do with them!!

 I saw Mrs Quacknell fly off this morning so I quickly put the ladder up to see if there were any more eggs, and there were 9, exactly the same as last time. Therefore, I can predict that in four weeks there will be some ducklings again. I'm not going to look again as I don't want to disturb her, but hopefully we will get pictures when they hatch.
