Hello Nursery!

Remember to keep looking at Marvellous Me for the daily cheeky challenge. The Government has set up the Oak National Academy. It will provide 180 video lessons each week, across a range of subjects for every year group from Reception through to Year 10. If you are interested look at the Reception lessons as some of these are appropriate for Nursery children.

Read Write Inc

Christmas Concert

The children in the Nursery worked very hard to learn lots of Christmas songs and actions to perform to their families and friends. We were all very proud of them.

Welcome to the Autumn Term in Nursery

The children have had a great first half term in Nursery. We have begun to learn about our school values and meet our value dolls. We have been learning about Autumn and have had a wonderful time exploring our school grounds. The children have enjoyed listening to many exciting stories and learning nursery rhymes.

We have had our first stay and play session all about early writing and mark making. The children were so happy to share their learning with parents and grandparents.

Our topic this term is 'It's exciting to be me!'. Please look at our curriculum letter and our parents' notice board for more details.

Please do not hesitate to come and have a chat should any questions or concerns arise.

Children In Need

We had fun on Children In Need day. We came to Nursery in our own clothes and collected some money for children who are not as lucky as we are. We drew and made our own Pudsey.

Learning Our School Values

Nursery have been learning all about the Hollybush school values. We have value dolls in our classroom; Generous George, Learning Lucy, Asking Arthur, Excited Eliza and Kind Chris.
