Through a culture that is kind, supportive and empowering, we will provide an environment where every child can flourish.

Aims.

We aim to achieve our school vision through the following:

  • ensure all children and adults are valued as members of the Hollybush school community;
  • intentionally build warm, consistent connections with pupils, families, and colleagues, creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone belongs;
  • keep the needs of all the children at the heart of everything we do;
  • embed the school rules of safe, ready and respectful in our actions;
  • nurture a school culture that:
    • promotes positive choices through the consistent use of the Hollybush Way - Super Sitting, Magical Manners, Lovely Lining-up, Wonderful Walking;
    • recognises Unconditional Positive Regard as the foundation for all of our relationships;
    • ensures inclusion, promotes equity and embraces diversity;
    • aims for the highest quality in all we do and recognises resilience, effort and improvement;
    • helps children to own their achievements and take pleasure in doing their best;
  • provide a curriculum that:
    • sets foundations that enable every child to make good progress in their learning from their individual starting point;
