Truffle the school dog

Hello. My name is Truffle and I am an 11 week old Standard Schnauzer. I am going to be coming to school with you from September. I am getting used to living at Mrs Noon's house.

I have already enjoyed redesigning Mrs Noon's flower beds and a fun game of swingball. It's all very tiring!

I've been doing lots of learning as well as playing. I've only been living with Mrs Noon for a week and look what I can do already:

On Tuesday, I went to see the vet for the first time. I went to Chestnut Vets in Ware who are, very kindly, helping Hollybush to look after me by funding my routine medical care. I had to have an injection to stop me getting poorly. It didn't hurt much and I got loads of treats for being such a good boy. I like the vet!

I can't wait to meet you all. Mrs Noon has told me that you're all very nice and you've done lots of learning about how to help me stay safe and happy in your school.

I love school!

I have made myself very much at home and have enjoyed making my mark on Mrs Noon's office.

The children are doing an amazing job of making me feel welcome and putting me at ease. They completely ignore me when they see me (which I know they find very hard because I'm soooo cute!) but I'll let you into a secret...I'm almost as excited about playing with them as they are about playing with me!

My training is coming along very well, if I do so say myself. Intwo weeks' time I'm going to my first DHK training session in Devon and I can't wait. Mrs Noon is keeping her fingers crossed that I don't eat all their paperwork too!
